If you’re thinking about starting your martial arts journey, one of the most important questions is: where do the classes take place? At Bushido Martial Arts, we train in a safe, welcoming, and spacious facility in Stockport that’s ideal for learning both Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Freestyle Karate.

This is our primary training venue, and it’s where all weekly sessions take place. The space is fully equipped with mats and enough room for throws, striking drills, kata, and weapons practice.


Accessibility & Parking

The venue has its own on-site car park, making it easy for parents, students, and visitors to arrive and park without hassle.


Whether you're driving, walking, or taking public transport, getting to our dojo is simple and straightforward.

Class Schedule

We run three training sessions a week, with classes for all ages and belt levels:



Saturday is our longest and most varied training day, ideal for students looking to progress faster or focus on specialisms like weapons, sparring, or black belt preparation.

First Time Training?

If it’s your first visit to Bushido Martial Arts, here’s what to know:


  • Wear loose, comfortable clothes (or your Gi if you have one)

  • Bring water – Sessions are physical and energising

  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early so you can meet the instructor and settle in

  • First session is free – No pressure, no commitment. Just come and try.
